What moves Pakistan’s fuel prices
Notified prices track the international cost of refined fuel and the rupee. These are OGRA’s own published figures, updated each trading day. They explain what has already happened; they are not a forecast of the next notified price.

What is Platts data?
Platts is the international price assessment for refined products such as petrol and diesel. OGRA publishes the averaged Platts FoB quote it uses in the ex-refinery calculation, together with Dubai crude and the State Bank of Pakistan’s weighted average exchange rate.
We record these figures exactly as published and never estimate a future price from them. To see what was actually notified, check the current petrol price or the full notified history.
